Hotel is close to train station (five minutes walk) from where we could go to Venice. Train goes almost every minute and it takes about 8 to 10 minutes to Venice. Hotel has a free and safe private parking. It is modern looking and very clean. Breakfast is good. Free wireless internet.
I liked the convenience of the shuttle service and the breakfast that was offered. Good variety and a valuable service since there were no restaurants open at that time in the area.
The area around the hotel was not very appealing.
The location, in 5 minute walk distance from the Mestre railway station. Really nice to go to Verona, Venice or Trieste. Nice staff speaking french, english. The breakfast is limited but not bad !
The bathroom is a little bit small and the room was really warm, the air conditionner being not really efficient !
I was very nice place. Before i went there, i had stayed in another hotel already. Due to fully booking in that hotel, i booked a room from Hotel Ambasciata and i loved it. Whenever i go to Venice, i will stay there. It is cozy, traditional Italian hotel.Fabiola Receptionist was very helpful and sweet. Thank you guys for the lovely stay.
My room was next to the place where the breakfast was held. Therefore in the morning it was very very noisy . If you want to chose this hotel, just make sure your room is not on the first floor.
Firstly I would like to mention Fabiola at the reception, without her good will and friendly attitude, we would enjoy the stay much less. the hotel is very modern and clean. close to the bus no.2 for Venice, the journey takes 15 min. the surrounding is quiet and nice. the room is not big but is bright, nice and kept tidy every day. breakfast is very good and offers a good variety, especially fresh fruits and good pastry.
we couldn't have a double bed, despite the fact I asked for it. the nice receptionist woman got us a double mattress. the shower doors were broken and were not fixed during the 7 nights stay! the lamp cover in the bathroom was missing. these faults didn't make us unhappy, just wandering why the hotel was not able to fix such small things. the sound isolation is poor, the doors slamming and neighbor's shower were very annoying.
This hotel is close to the Mestre railway station and bus stop towards Venice. It's a good place to stay if you wish to visit Venice without paying too much for your hotel.
The bed could be of better quality.
The room was nice and big and comfortable and the large balcony/terrace was a lovely addition.
Our bathroom had only a handheld shower and no shower curtain, but was clean and bright and otherwise well appointed.
The staff at the hotel was by far the best I had in Italy. They were very friendly, and the lovely woman at the front desk (whose name I am unfortunately blanking on) greeted us happily every morning at breakfast and helped us figure out the logistics of getting around Venice (they have a great map that they give out to travelers). They recommended a great local restaurant, and particularly for Europe, I found the room to be quite large. It was extremely clean and bright, and the area was quiet. The breakfast was very good, with eggs and hot ham as well as the usual Italian hotel breakfast foods (croissants, salami, etc). I don't think I have a single thing to complain about regarding this hotel and would definitely recommend it to others
5min walk to the bus station that goes to Venice. New, clean rooms. Willing and english speaking staff
Nice and friendly staff with, everytime available for questions. Good localization respect to Mestre train station.
In general its a very nice hotel.
The night shift persone didn't know to speek english so good. he mad us understand the our breakfast is paid. He didnt saied anything about the parking cost 10 euro per day. but he was very nice.
Ideal location for Venice. 200metres from railway station. 1 euro each way on train. Very reasonable rates- 70 euros for b&b. 10 euros extra for parking though. Not a pretty location , but as a base for Venice, ideal.
The staff (young lady) is really kind and supportive. The location is quite OK for serving as a quick approach to Venice center. The nearby environment is not so clean though, but the hotel inside is quite modern and we did enjoy our stay in Ambasciate.
Breakfast is soso but we cannot expect more :)
Some of the staff were very helpful.
A lot of noise during the night from adjacent rooms through thin walls.
The staff were extremely helpful with directions. Easy to catch buses and trains
Area felt quite insecure at night when walking to a local restaurant for dinner
